Take that off, what are you?", kemudian Tony menjawab: "Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.", itulah Tony Stark yang kita kenal, hmmm…benarkah? Well, berangkat dari pertanyaan Steve Rogers tersebut, "Iron Man 3" adalah jawabannya, sekaligus sebuah pembuktian. Citra seorang Tony Stark dipelintir, film yang menjadi pembuka apa yang disebut dengan Marvel Phase Two ini, seakan-akan dimaksudkan untuk memperkenalkan lagi siapa sebenarnya Tony Stark, apa iya setelah dua film, kita benar-benar telah mengenal baik sosok Tony Stark.
